EMR stands for electromagnetic radiation. It is a form of energy emitted and absorbed by charged particles, it exhibits wave-like behavior as it travels through space. EMR has both electric and magnetic field components. Most common sources of electromagnetic radiation are:

• smart hydro meters, wiring errors, Wi-fi, game consoles, cordless phones, power lines

• electrical substations, power boxes, switchboards, electrical wiring, solar power systems 

• power supplies, adapters, transformers, microwaves and other electrical appliances

The amount of radiation that reaches us and enters our body depends on various factors including:

• the power of the transmitting source, the frequency / wavelength of the source

• the shape and size of the transmitting source, the distance from the transmitting source

• various barriers between the source and our body that may deflect, absorb or redirect the electromagnetic field​

• the grounding situation in our living / work space, the grounding situation of our own body
